It’s less than five days until my e-book is released, so on Friday I opened the blog to any questions you had on the book, to maybe re-assure you that buying it is a good idea! I got a couple questions here on the blog, and a few emails, so here are your answers!
How does an e-book work? What format is it in, and do I need any special programs or an e-reader to read it?
It’s easier than you might think! How it works is, once you click the “add to cart” or “buy now” button, you will be re-directed to a Paypal page where you will make your purchase. Once the purchase has been made, you will be sent an automatic e-mail from e-junkie (my distributor) with confirmation and a download link. All you have to do is click the link, choose “save as” and the book will be saved to your computer.
The format at this point in time is only available on PDF; you can use a free Adobe Reader, available for download on their website, to read the e-book.
Do I need a Paypal account to buy the e-book?
Nope! You can pay with any major credit card, through Paypal as a guest. However, if you want to use an e-check or automatic transfer from your bank, you will need to open a Paypal account- it’s free!
Can I buy more than one copy of the e-book? How do I do that?
Yes, you can buy more than one copy! Simply increase the number in the “quantity” section of your shopping cart and it will increase the charges, you make your payment and you will be sent TWO separate download links.
What program can I use to read your e-book on a Mac?
{Answer from Dominic, my resident tech guru} …It should open with no problem with the Preview App. If you want to read it on your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad, I would recommend GoodReader.
Is it available to read on Kindle e-readers?
Not at this point in time, unfortunately. I am looking into have it transferred into Kindle compatible format for sales on Amazon and viewing on Kindles in the near future. In addition, it should be available in E-Pub format for other e-readers in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for information on that!
