And the ‘nog obsession continues! I really am in love with this seasonal creamy indulgence. So of course, I’m trying to sneak it in to my diet every way I can. Too bad it’s all gone now. Otherwise, I’d be making myself a homemade eggnog latte this morning.
Ever since I got my milk frother in my stocking from the hubby last year ($3 from ikea. worthwhile investment, I tell you). I love re-doing favorite Starbucks drinks at home. Most made? Homemade chai latte. But this December, I decided to take a chance and make a homemade eggnog latte with my organic eggnog and a mug of dandy blend. Would it work??
Oh, it worked- it was INCREDIBLE! It has to be my favorite easy eggnog creation as of yet- even better than the smoothie or frosting! This is the easiest recipe I think I’ve posted to the blog all year, so you all better try it!
Homemade eggnog latte
You’ll need:
1/3-1/2 cup eggnog (use more for a creamier latte!)
1/2 cup brewed dandy blend, coffee or espresso
nutmeg
milk frother
two mugs
1. Brew your dandy/coffee nice and strong. Set aside.
2. Warm your eggnog lightly in a small pot. Transfer to a separate mug. Use your milk frother to froth until nice and fluffy.
3. Pour coffee/dandy/espresso over the ‘nog and sprinkle with nutmeg. Enjoy!
Happy Holiday sipping!

I have always hated eggnog but you have me convinced – I’m picking up some of the good stuff pronto!
