About Kristin
I’m Kristin- writer, owner and photographer. I’m a natural foods chef- meaning I focus on cooking whole foods close to their natural form- mostly local, always fresh and delicious. My background is in nutrition and I graduated from culinary school in September of 2010. My goal through blogging is to show all of you, my dear readers, just how fun, beneficial and delicious eating whole, healthy foods can be! Read more about me.
About the blog
Cook, Bake, Nibble is a food and health blog focusing mainly on recipes, healthy living tips, reviews, and a little inspiration here and there.
The recipes you find here on the blog will be almost always vegetarian and always full of fresh, unprocessed whole foods because that is the way of eating I have found, over the last year or so, makes me thrive. In addition, all of the recipes on the blog after March, 2011 are gluten-free. As of June 2011, I have embarked on a grain-free diet due to some health issues. You can read more about my healing journey here. We are a non-judgment zone over here, however- we support whatever works for you! So whether you take my recipes and re-create them to a tee, or add your own twist to them it is fine by me (just please credit me if you’re posting them online!). I hope to encourage and inspire healthy eating through delicious whole foods.

hi kristin, just been on your website, fab food will certainly have a go at some of your recipes.. and they are so simple…
Just found your blog! Sooooo excited!
Hi, I am a new comer to eating Vegan Im actually starting tomorrow. I have been reading about cleanse and thought that might be a good way to kick it off. I read you blog about your 3 day cleanse and was wondering if you could give me some smoothie recipes. And any advice on the transition to becoming vegan would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Jorre! Good luck on your challenge! I have never been fully vegan, so I don’t have too many transition tips for you but I would say taking it easy and eliminting maybe one item at a time (i.e. eggs one day, milk/cheese another, yogurt another, the red meat, chicken, fish, etc-) until you are there is a very simple, effective, less shocking way to go about it! And I have tons of smoothie recipes- here are a few:

Thanks I have been fully vegan for a week now and its been pretty easy… only hard thing is figuring out what to make for dinner, used to be chicken and brown rice n a veggie or fish pasta and a veggie lol,…. but it is a fun new experience at the same time…
thank you for the smoothie recipes
